In December this year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work I gemelli by Mario Restelli. The result of EUR 400.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Restelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ciclisti, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 1,200.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit I gemelli von Mario Restelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 400,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Restelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ciclisti beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 1.200,00 versteigert wurde.
