Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Composizione R. S. by Mario Radice. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mario Radice have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work P. R. O. G. QQQ was auctioned for EUR 38,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione R. S. von Mario Radice zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mario Radice konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit P. R. O. G. QQQ für EUR 38.600,00 versteigert.
