Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggi con figure by Mario Pobbiati was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Pobbiati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Damina in rosa, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 868.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggi con figure von Mario Pobbiati im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 400,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Pobbiati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Damina in rosa beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 868,00 versteigert wurde.
