A top price for Mario Pobbiati - as previously expected
The work Damina in rosa by Mario Pobbiati was auctioned at Christies in Rome in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 868.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Damina in rosa is the most expensive artwork by Mario Pobbiati that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Damina in rosa von Mario Pobbiati kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 868,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
