In May 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Piccolo Torso Nerosigned With Monograms And Numbered 5/6 On The Base, Glazed Bronze. Executed In 1981 by Mario Negri for EUR 4,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mario Negri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
