This artwork by Mario de Maria achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2018. In the Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Notturno sold for EUR 3,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario de Maria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Notturno Tra I Caseggiati, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 9,300.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario de Maria erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Notturno für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario de Maria mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Notturno Tra I Caseggiati beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 9.300,00 versteigert wurde.
