Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Caseggiati ad Anticoli by Mario de Maria. The price achieved of EUR 2,976.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario de Maria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Notturno Tra I Caseggiati, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 9,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Caseggiati ad Anticoli von Mario de Maria zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.976,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario de Maria mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Notturno Tra I Caseggiati beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 9.300,00 versteigert wurde.
