Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2000 Christies in Milan held the auction Arte del XX secolo, which included the work Struttura verticale by Mario Bionda. The price achieved of ITL 3,055,000.00 (€ 2,620.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Bionda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande immagine in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 10,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Arte del XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Struttura verticale von Mario Bionda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 3.055.000,00 (€ 2.620,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Bionda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande immagine im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.540,00.
