Upper estimate price exceeded by 32 %.
In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Forma azzurra by Mario Bionda. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,300.00 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Bionda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande immagine, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 10,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forma azzurra von Mario Bionda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.300,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Bionda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande immagine beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 10.540,00 versteigert wurde.
