A top price for Mario Airò - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Lingua araba) by Mario Airò was sold in the ITALIA Theme Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,320.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Lingua araba) is the most expensive artwork by Mario Airò that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Lingua araba) von Mario Airò wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion ITALIA Theme Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.320,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Lingua araba) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mario Airò, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
