Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A hilly landscape with travellers and a shepherd on a track, a castle in the distance by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive riverlandscape with figures unloading a stone transport in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 71,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A hilly landscape with travellers and a shepherd on a track, a castle in the distance von Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An extensive riverlandscape with figures unloading a stone transport im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.700,00.
