In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Torso by Marina Núñez del Prado. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,175.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Marina Núñez del Prado have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work White Venus was auctioned for USD 33,750.00 (€ 24,805.23).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torso von Marina Núñez del Prado zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.175,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marina Núñez del Prado konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit White Venus für USD 33.750,00 (€ 24.805,23) versteigert.
