In the Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art auction, the work Portrait Of Madame De Genlis sold for USD 108,000.00 (€ 83,089.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marie-Victoire Lemoine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Two Sisters , which sold at auction in June 2017 for USD 262,500.00 (€ 230,041.19).
