Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work Portrait of a young boy, half-length, in a grey jacket and a black hat, at a table with a book by Marie-Victoire Lemoine. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie-Victoire Lemoine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Two Sisters in June 2017 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 230,041.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young boy, half-length, in a grey jacket and a black hat, at a table with a book von Marie-Victoire Lemoine zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie-Victoire Lemoine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Two Sisters im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 230.041,19).
