Die Arbeit Le Dimanche Au Bas-Meudon von Marie-François Firmin-Girard kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 579.000,00 (€ 486.636,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marie-François Firmin-Girard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Le Quai Aux Fleurs im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.021.000,00 (€ 2.214.809,38).
