Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marie-François Firmin-Girard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work French woman Sewing In A Garden sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,968.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie-François Firmin-Girard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Quai Aux Fleurs in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,021,000.00 (€ 2,214,809.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marie-François Firmin-Girard erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit French woman Sewing In A Garden für USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.968,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie-François Firmin-Girard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Le Quai Aux Fleurs im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.021.000,00 (€ 2.214.809,38).
