Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French les Fiancés by Marie-François Firmin-Girard. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie-François Firmin-Girard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Quai Aux Fleurs in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,021,000.00 (€ 2,214,809.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French les Fiancés von Marie-François Firmin-Girard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.742,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie-François Firmin-Girard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Le Quai Aux Fleurs im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.021.000,00 (€ 2.214.809,38).
