In June 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Still Life Of Roses, Carnations, A Tulip And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase by Maria van Oosterwyck. The »bidding war« ended at USD 98,500.00 (€ 67,823.45), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria van Oosterwyck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Roses, Carnations, Marigolds And Other Flowers With A Sunflower And Striped Grass, In A Glass Vase With A Knife And String Upon A Marble Ledge in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,040,102.08).

Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Carnations, A Tulip And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase von Maria van Oosterwyck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 98.500,00 (€ 67.823,45) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria van Oosterwyck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Carnations, Marigolds And Other Flowers With A Sunflower And Striped Grass, In A Glass Vase With A Knife And String Upon A Marble Ledge im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 1.040.102,08).
