The work Young birch trees; and Night on the river by Maria Iakunchikova was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,977.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Iakunchikova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 690,850.00 (€ 806,496.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Young birch trees; and Night on the river von Maria Iakunchikova kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.977,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Iakunchikova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 690.850,00 (€ 806.496,64).
