Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Death At The Piano; Poem Dedicated To Fedor Iur'Evich Berends; Castle; And Breton Interior by Maria Iakunchikova was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,078.41), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Iakunchikova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 690,850.00 (€ 806,496.64).

Die Arbeit Death At The Piano; Poem Dedicated To Fedor Iur'Evich Berends; Castle; And Breton Interior von Maria Iakunchikova wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.078,41) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Iakunchikova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 690.850,00 (€ 806.496,64).
