In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Stream by Maria Iakunchikova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,070.24), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Iakunchikova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 690,850.00 (€ 806,496.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stream von Maria Iakunchikova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.070,24) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Iakunchikova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 690.850,00 (€ 806.496,64).
