Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Irreparable; Study For 'Irreparable'; Rêve; And Girl In The Garden by Maria Iakunchikova was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,826.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Iakunchikova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 690,850.00 (€ 806,496.64).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.826,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Iakunchikova erzielen.
