Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Christies held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Cowslip by Maria Iakunchikova. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,369.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Iakunchikova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 690,850.00 (€ 806,496.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cowslip von Maria Iakunchikova zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.369,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Iakunchikova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From a window of the old house, Vvedenskoe im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 690.850,00 (€ 806.496,64).
