Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work The scent of summer by Maria Boohtiyarova. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,306.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maria Boohtiyarova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Awaiting his return, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,744.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The scent of summer von Maria Boohtiyarova zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.306,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maria Boohtiyarova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Awaiting his return beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.744,26) versteigert wurde.
