Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 5,736.00 (€ 5,262.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marguerite Stuber Pearson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon Concert, which sold at auction in February 2002 for USD 17,625.00 (€ 20,356.90).
