Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Margot Veillon was auctioned at Bonhams in London in August 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,673.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margot Veillon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colourful Forms I, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Margot Veillon kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.673,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Margot Veillon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colourful Forms I beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88) versteigert wurde.
