Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Colourful Forms II by Margot Veillon was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,844.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margot Veillon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colourful Forms I, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.844,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Margot Veillon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colourful Forms I beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88) versteigert wurde.
