Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work A white peony, a blue iris and a red cockscomb with a butterfly, tied together with a pink ribbon; and A white tulip, a peony and daffodils with a ladybug, tied together with a blue ribbon by Margaretha Barbara Dietzsch. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Margaretha Barbara Dietzsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A fine album of ornithological watercolours, eighteenth century in May last year with an auction result of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 62,255.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit A white peony, a blue iris and a red cockscomb with a butterfly, tied together with a pink ribbon; and A white tulip, a peony and daffodils with a ladybug, tied together with a blue ribbon von Margaretha Barbara Dietzsch zur Versteigerung kam.
