Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 851.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Margaret Hislop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Tulips In A Large Vase in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,565.48).
