Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Auberge de vieux moulin, Giverny by Margaret Fisher Prout was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,592.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margaret Fisher Prout - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An evening beside the fire, which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,273.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Auberge de vieux moulin, Giverny von Margaret Fisher Prout kam im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.592,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
