Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cloud Sky on Autumn Valley by Mardi Barrie was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 717.00 (€ 1,083.54). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mardi Barrie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening interlude, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,325.45).

Die Arbeit Cloud Sky on Autumn Valley von Mardi Barrie kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 717,00 (€ 1.083,54) einen neuen Besitzer.
