In May 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern Pictures, which included the work Senza Titolo by Marco Tirelli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,300.00 55% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marco Tirelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Marco Tirelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.300,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marco Tirelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2017 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10) versteigert wurde.
