In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Letting in the morning breeze changed hands for USD 1,125.00 (€ 887.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Vertès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
