Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Soeurs by Marcel Vertès was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,814.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Vertès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Soeurs von Marcel Vertès wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.814,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Vertès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
