Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.792,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Mariën erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pompéi, an 79 : grand coït de la dernière nuit im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.840,00.
