Wassily-Sessel. in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.

Die Arbeit Pair of vitrines, model no. S40 von Marcel Breuer wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion The Betty Lee and Aaron Stern Collection bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.902,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Breuer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clubsessel – Modell: B 3 – Sog. Wassily-Sessel. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
