A top price for Marcel Antonio - as previously expected
In April 2007 Sothebys in Singapore held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work West Of The Sun, East Of The Moon by Marcel Antonio. The price achieved of SGD 15,600.00 (€ 7,514.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SGD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, West Of The Sun, East Of The Moon is the most expensive artwork by Marcel Antonio that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Singapur die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit West Of The Sun, East Of The Moon von Marcel Antonio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SGD 15.600,00 (€ 7.514,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SGD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
