Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Paysage by Marc-Aurèle Fortin. The price achieved of CAD 7,200.00 (€ 5,379.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc-Aurèle Fortin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Montreal From St. Helen'S Island in November 2012 with an auction result of CAD 462,500.00 (€ 357,948.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Marc-Aurèle Fortin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 7.200,00 (€ 5.379,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc-Aurèle Fortin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of Montreal From St. Helen'S Island im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 462.500,00 (€ 357.948,69).
