In December 2009 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work French Figures by B. Louttre. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,625.00 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes French Figures the most expensive artwork by B. Louttre that we have observed at auctions so far.
