Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction LATIN AMERICA, which included the work Sur by Manuel Pailós. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,838.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Pailós achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,142.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion LATIN AMERICA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sur von Manuel Pailós zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.838,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Pailós erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.142,43).
