In May 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Máquina constructiva by Manuel Pailós. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,259.78), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Manuel Pailós have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,142.43).

Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Máquina constructiva von Manuel Pailós zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.259,78) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Pailós auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.142,43).
