In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California auction, the work Untitled No. 2 (Joellen), 1995 sold for USD 15,300.00 (€ 15,639.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Neri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 289,000.00 (€ 196,759.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel Neri erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California wurde die Arbeit Untitled No. 2 (Joellen), 1995 für USD 15.300,00 (€ 15.639,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Neri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.000,00 (€ 196.759,26).
