The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,537.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Manuel Muñoz y Otero have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2011 the work The Storyteller was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,423.64).
