Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Firebird by Manuel Carbonell for USD 1,250.00 (€ 881.34). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Carbonell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mother Embracing Child in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 39,388.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Firebird von Manuel Carbonell für USD 1.250,00 (€ 881,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Carbonell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mother Embracing Child im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 39.388,69).
