In November 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Senza Titolo by Manlio Rho. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 28,350.00 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Manlio Rho; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza Titolo sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of EUR 42,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Manlio Rho zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 28.350,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Manlio Rho; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 42.000,00.
