The work Teeth Politics, 2007 by Manjunath Kamath was worth EUR 44,611.00 to a buyer in December 2007. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Indian Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 8,600.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Manjunath Kamath; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Character in My Grandmother's Story sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 511,500.00 (€ 44,714.46).
