Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,098.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Mamdouh Kashlan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work A Rural Wedding (Damascus, Mezzeh Darayya) was auctioned for USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,625.22).
