Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Planche contact by Malick Sidibé was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of MAD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for MAD 22,304.00 (€ 2,040.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Malick Sidibé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Les Amis Des Espagnols', 1968 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 40,582.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Planche contact von Malick Sidibé kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von MAD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für MAD 22.304,00 (€ 2.040,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Malick Sidibé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Les Amis Des Espagnols', 1968 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 40.582,26).
