Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Malerie Marder was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 1,200.00 (€ 897.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Malerie Marder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled from Inland Empire, which sold at auction in May 2018 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,277.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Malerie Marder wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.200,00 (€ 897,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Malerie Marder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled from Inland Empire beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.277,46) versteigert wurde.
