Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Rites and Silences by Maikel Martinez. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,104.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Maikel Martinez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work The Lost Landscape (14) was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,556.56).
